PREAH SIHANOUK, CAMBODIA — On June 17, 2026, ISI Special Economic Zone (ISI SEZ) was honored to welcome senior representatives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The high-level site visit marks a significant milestone in ISI SEZ’s ongoing commitment to sustainable industrial engineering, eco-focused development, and green investment initiatives.
The visit provided a collaborative platform for the IFC delegation and the ISI SEZ management team to align on international sustainable practices. During the comprehensive tour of the zone, the IFC team shared invaluable insights, technical expertise, and strategic recommendations. These assessments are vital to supporting and accelerating ISI SEZ’s roadmap toward achieving formal international Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) standards.
Driving Sustainable Infrastructure & Green Investment
As part of its long-term vision, ISI SEZ is actively prioritizing green investments that reduce environmental impact while maximizing operational efficiency for its industrial tenants. The delegation inspected several core development sites and sustainable infrastructure projects currently underway across the zone.
